Blue Faced Leicester Roving

The other day I decided to get creative. I had 8oz of superwash Blue Faced Leicester roving just laying around the house and I was in the mood to hand dye so I would could spin out some yarn. Note to self: get a lighter drop spindle!

I tried taking some pictures of the roving hanging up to dry and the sample yarn I spun to see what the roving would look like post-drafting.

The colors remind me of a pomegranate. What do you think?
